The arrival of summer gives us many things, from beautiful blue skies above to the endless amounts of barbequed food we consume. At Excel, it also gives us our summer away day.

This time we ascended to the North of England, spending our time in sunny Manchester! (We were shocked too, coats unused in suitcases!)

These events are one of the many ways we power ourselves to be a successful remote team. They give us valuable time to connect with one another, which is always guaranteed to involve a whole lot of learning and laughter.

Much of that learning came courtesy of a highly edu-taining workshop from one of our own David Henderson! Packed full of learnings that we can introduce to further add to what we have built and are continuing to build here.

We also enjoyed dinners together, as well as some friendly competition on the oche and on the track! 

Another HUGE thank you also goes to Grace Purnell, Annie De Matteis and Conor Smith for planning such an energising couple of days!
