Hi, It’s Tom here from Excel Communications.
I know it‘s an understatement but what a weird few months its been!
Since the middle of March here at Excel, we have continued to support our learning and development clients across the globe, and we have achieved this in several ways.
Let me explain.
We are moving our in-person learning programmes to virtual workshops which supports our clients and their teams to continue to experience the development and support they now want.
We have worked in the L and D space for over thirty years, and we have seen many changes!
Training and development have moved from off the shelf ‘courses’ to e-learning on its first iteration – which didn’t have the technology to support it!
And now to bespoke programmes using a blended approach and remote development through the use of technology like Zoom and live streaming.
The truth is, training for your team is one thing, and understanding an organisation at a deeper level to grasp the shifts needed to develop greater change are two entirely different things.
This is where working with a learning and development consultancy is different.
We get to the core of who both you and your people are, that way we can map out a unique plan that delivers exactly what you need.
Think about it.
You buy an off the shelf programme because you think this is ‘what you need‘ and then a few months down the line you realise there are still things missing when it comes to a team‘s skills that needed handling first.
It‘s a classic issue we see time and time again when we start working with clients.
At Excel, we have designed and delivered programmes by consulting with our clients to map out a learning journey.
This can include end–to–end learning solutions involving anything from skills to coaching to project management.
If you want to know more about how this process works, then send me a message or give me a call on 01628 488 854.
